Sunflower Observation on 29/4/2009
This week,I recorded the observations for my Taiwan sunflower plant. It was 22cm tall and had 16 leaves. It also had a small sunflower developing!I wish my sunflower will grow faster and get more sunlight!
Datalogger Experiment
Last week, we did an experiment with the datalogger. So we took a leaf from our sunflower to use in the experiment. After that, we put the leaf in a container and shone a very bright light on the leaf and measured the amount of carbon dioxide in the container. After 30 minutes, we realised that leaves really took in carbon dioxide when they photosynthesized. After all, this had really been a very interesting experience for me.

PBL Lesson--Checking & Action
Shariel & Sriram : The whole flower turned blue while the stalk was red. I think it was because the red dye was thicker than the blue dye. However, I did not get the same results as I had expected, as I had expected the flower to turn half blue half red.I feel that it could be improved by making sure that the thickness of the dye is equal. If I were to do the same thing again, I would make sure that the thickness of the dye is the same.
